D-Punch
The RIX FormPunch D punches the D-shape—a round hole with a flat surface. This flat surface acts as an anti-rotation feature: connectors, switches, and screw connections fit securely and can no longer rotate within the sheet metal. Three sizes, ranging from 12.7 x 11.92 mm to 19.05 x 17.86 mm, cover the standard mounting dimensions.
- Twist protection is created directly during punching
- Three sizes ranging from 12.7 x 11.92 to 19.05 x 17.86 mm
- For sheet steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic
- Pilot hole: 10 mm; material thickness up to 2.0 mm
- Manually or hydraulically operated
D-Punch Anwendung
For components with anti-rotation features used in control cabinet, enclosure, and control system construction: circular connectors, signal lights, control devices, and cable glands. The flat section serves as the locking mechanism—no additional drilling or rework is required.
