FormPunch Nose
The RIX FormPunch punch punches round holes with integrated grooves—with either one or four pins. The groove engages with the anti-rotation feature of the component and holds it securely in place without the need for additional drilling or filing. The hole and tabs are created together in a single operation.
- Round holes and tabs in a single operation
- Models with 1 prong or 4 prongs
- Dimensions: 22.5 x 3.2 x 25.4 and 30.5 x 4.8 x 36.0 mm
- Pilot hole: 15 or 18 mm; material thickness up to 2.0 mm
- For sheet steel, aluminum, and plastic
FormPunch Nose Anwendung
For components with anti-rotation grooves used in control cabinet, control system, and enclosure construction—such as circular connectors, control units, and feed-throughs—that must remain precisely aligned despite insertion forces and vibration. Stainless steel versions available upon request.
